Elizabeth Peery

Hello, thank you for viewing my page! I am a class of 2024 at Ridgefield High School where I play varsity. I pitch and play outfield for the NW Vandals and my high school team.

Ever since I was eight, when I first picked up a softball, I knew I never wanted to put it down. When I was 10, I got diagnosed with type one diabetes. The first question I asked the doctor when she told me my diagnosis was, “Can I still play softball?” of course the answer was yes. From that day forward, I have learned how to fight against the unstoppable in work hard for my dreams. Other things I have learned from playing softball is, courage, dedication, leadership, and most of all, respect. I also love giving back to the littles as my idols did it for me.

My end goal is to pursue softball and play at the next level while studying medicine. I am a 4.0 student, as well as an active member of National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council, and Speech and Debate. I like to be involved in as many school activities as possible to gain important life experience and meet new people. As part of student council, I feel that inclusivity and a strong community is very important and I love helping make it known.
